Trezzo sull’Adda (MI), 1 October 2024 – Cofle S.p.A. (EGM) – a leading global company in the design, production, and marketing of control systems and cables for off-road vehicles, automotive, and the automotive aftermarket – met with over 40 clients and partners from the automotive industry during the 2024 edition of Automechanika Frankfurt, the leading international trade fair for the automotive industry, held in Frankfurt, Germany.
During the event, Cofle established new and strategic relationships with clients and partners from several countries, including Italy, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Poland, Denmark, Hungary, Tunisia, Albania, the United States, and Chile. The management met with leading companies from both Europe and beyond, laying the foundation for significant collaborations and potential new market opportunities.
Cofle witnessed strong interest in several of its key products, including brake cables, clutch cables, gear shift systems, and electric parking brakes (EPB), with many companies expressing the need to expand their product ranges in these categories to meet the demands of a rapidly growing aftermarket. Interest in private label (PBL) products also increased, with specific requests for the development of customized lines, along with detailed inquiries about catalogs and target prices, paving the way for future collaborations.
The outlook for development is positive, thanks to the negotiations held during the fair, which indicate interest and potential growth in various markets.
The Group also identified potential expansion opportunities in emerging markets such as Greece, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Tunisia, with interest from some clients for large volume orders and the possibility of long-term contracts.
Walter Barbieri, Chairman and CEO of Cofle, commented: “The success we achieved at Automechanika Frankfurt underscores the strength of our brand and the growing interest in our products globally. We are excited about the opportunities on the horizon and are ready to strengthen our presence in emerging markets. Despite the challenges facing the automotive industry, the aftermarket sector is proving to be one of the few areas of growth, and Cofle intends to fully capitalize on these opportunities.”
